My wife and I have had the pleasure of working with Midas Construction on a number of projects over the past few months including a major bathroom remodel, a flooring project, a plumbing issue, kitchen remodeling, the installation of a media center and a number of other small to mid-level projects.
Milos is a top-notch professional and runs an exceptional business. He is responsive, friendly, always on time and understands customer service like no contractor we have worked with in the past. Most importantly, his work is excellent. He is a problem solver and is able to find creative solutions to problems that result in high quality work that is reasonably-priced and presented in a straight forward fashion with exemplary accounting.
We have worked with other contractors and had bad experiences but Milos has renewed our hope in improving our home which needed a lot of work. He has been flexible with our schedules and we trust him in our home. Again, his work is excellent not merely in the final product but in the manner in which he does the work—he does his best to clean the house at the end of the day while the projects are on-going and keeps his clients updated on the progress of the work. Our bathroom remodel was a major undertaking and the results exceeded our expectations at a price that was extremely reasonable.

Milos has totally renovated my condominium from top to bottom. He has installed hardwood floors throughout and even designed a new kitchen. I had no idea my unit could look this good!! Milos just finished completing numerous projects for us, including a new bathroom and closet in our basement, installing a ceramic tile floor, some electrical work, and several other smaller projects. About a year ago, I had Milos redo my kitchen. When I bought my condo, it had been redone in a “country primitive” motif. The base cabinets had been ripped out, along with the sink and dishwasher. In its place was a primitive country dry sink lined with copper. The gas stove had been removed and in its place stood an electric reproduction of a woodburning cookstove.
Milos removed all of the old junk in the kitchen, installed new cabinets, smoothed out the floor and installed ceramic tile. He also installed a new sink, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, gas stove and microwave/range hood combination. He installed the new refrigerator, including the ice maker water line. He installed all of the new cabinets and built several of the cabinets himself. He also replaced the old outlets and switches and installed a new ground fault isolate switch, and additional outlets. Then he installed under cabinet lighting. And to top it off, granite counters were installed.
My new kitchen is beautiful and just as important, very functional. I am thrilled with Milos’ workmanship in everything he touched. There have been no problems with any of the plumbing or electrical work. The tile work is superb. All of his workmanship is superb. A year later, and it still looks like a new kitchen – and, yes, I do use my kitchen every day.
He provided fair and reasonable estimates for his work. The work was started promptly and finished promptly. All in all, I was thoroughly pleased with his work, and plan to have him do other work in my home.

We live in a “charming” older house in Arlington and have had numerous contractors/handymen working on projects throughout the past several years. Milos stands far above the rest. He is reliable, experienced and most importantly, TRUSTWORTHY. He is so easy to work with and very reasonably priced. He also does it all – plumbing, tile, electrical and carpentry. He completely remodeled a bathroom for us as well as built a new wall and added some custom bookshelves and a window seat. You would be hard pressed to find another handyman of this caliber around the DC Metro area. We will never hire another handyman other than Milos!
