About The Owner

Milos Mihajlovic, owner and operator of Midas Construction, is a consummate professional and skilled craftsman.  Originally from Serbia, Milos’ uncompromising work ethic, expertise in the construction field, and commitment to customer service was honed from an early age.  His training began as a boy, when he would accompany his father, a master electrician and skilled carpenter, on jobs and help with small tasks.  As an apprentice to his father, Milos gained considerable hands-on experience in the field, working both with his father and with other contractors.  From those early days on the job, a lifelong passion for construction work was born.

By the time he reached high school, Milos was skilled enough to design and build his own gym –constructing the furniture as well as the steel equipment, which he welded himself.  By opening the facility to members of his community for a modest fee, Milos was able to generate sufficient income to further his education, becoming a master electrician and graduating with advanced degrees in both construction and technical science.  Eager to make a better life for himself and his family, Milos immigrated to the United States in 2005, where he quickly found work with a local remodeling company.  In addition to working in construction and further expanding his skills and experience as a contractor, he also managed the pool services division of that company and was responsible for maintaining a large number of pools in the tri-state area.  Milos built a devoted client base during his first few years in the United States, working almost exclusively on referrals from many repeat and satisfied customers.  With the support of his family, and especially his wife, Danielle, Milos decided to start his own company, Midas Construction, which proudly provides quality services to the Washington, D.C.-Metropolitan area.

Licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, Midas Construction specializes in interior remodeling projects such as kitchen, bath, and basement renovations, as well as home theater creations.  Midas Construction also regularly assists homeowners with other projects such as floor installation, painting, installing recessed lighting, and handyman services.

Midas Construction is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified firm and a proud member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and a Home Depot- Certified Installer.
